Hmmm, time to put in another entry. Things have been pretty weird this week with all the stuff that's been going on, but things are looking up! Lots of fun games are coming up soon and I'm excited! Yes yes, I love all kinds of good video games! Gears of War is going to be so awesome! Also Guitar Hero II, which Nolan is much better at. It's pretty hot when he leans back and plays the game in our papasan chair, and it always makes me think about how hot it would be if he actually learned to play the guitar.

Final Fantasy XII just came out, and I have to say WOW!! It's probably the most enjoyable video game I've ever played, and it's definitely better than any other FF game I've ever played. Honest, I love it more than FF tactics, FF 7, and my old favorite FF VIII. The architecture and look of the game is amazing, and the Gambit system rocks! I was originally worried the game would "play itself" as others make you think, but it's actually a really finely tuned system that requires thought, strategy, balancing, and intellectual combinations of skills and abilities. The characters are really cool too! Vayne's very hot, but Balthier won me over! He reminds me of Nolan because of his wit, charm, and bravados!

So I was thinking that I'm going to do some FF XII art. Coloring takes too long, so I may do a series of pics using Fran and Balthier in pencil and ink. Also, I think I'm going to learn how to draw the moogles so I can pen them out whenever I feel like it, that would be too cute!! I already have an idea of a picture with Balthier and Fran sitting in the Sandsea tavern next to the job board, and it should really let their personalities shine. The other idea, if anyone has played the original tactics, is to have one of the characters looking through vendor wares and having them holding one of the Zodiac Brave stones in disinterest.

Hm, that's about it for now. I'm so new to this, so thanks for being patient with me!
